Rainmaker first solicited me as a contributing author to their first book, From Fairbanks to Boston: 50 Great U.S. Marathons. I approached them with the idea to write about my experiences with cancer and triathlons, which led to publishing my first book: Full Time and Sub-Nine.
Dr. Melanie Six has been instrumental in keeping me in top form through Active Release Technique (ART) and Chiropractic adjustments. Based out of her office in Alexandria, Melanie is one of only a few fully certified ART professionals in the metro DC area.
