David Glover

t090901An actively racing elite triathlete, David has competed in more than 100 triathlons since 1995. In his third year of racing, David discovered his passion - Ironman®-distance triathlons (2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike, 26.2-mile run) - at Ironman Canada and has successfully completed 26 of them.  David has achieved an Ironman-distance PR of 8:51 (Quelle Challenge '07), has qualified for Ironman Hawaii multiple times (competed in 2002) and has won 5x Ironman-distance events overall with many more top 10 finishes.  Most recently, he finished 4th overall at Vineman in August 2009.

David certified as a coach by both USA Triathlon and USA Cycling.  He has a BS in Computer Science from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MSE in Engineering Management from Catholic University of America.  He is currently pursuing an MS in Applied Performance Physiology through Eastern Michigan University.

In addition to the numerous articles and eBooks he's authored about triathlon training and racing, David published Full Time & Sub-Nine: Fitting Iron Distance Training into Everyday Life, a book about his experiences with the Navy and the Naval Academy, surviving cancer and his rise from an age grouper to an elite Iron distance triathlete while working full time.  David also writes a regular column for Tri-DC Magazine called "The Athlete's Edge."

Krista Schultz

Elite triathlete and triathlon coach Krista has her BS and MEd in Exercise Physiology and is certified by NSCA (CSCS, CPT), USA Weightlifting, USA Triathlon and USA Cycling.  Through her company, Total Performance, Inc., an endurance sports testing and performance studio based in Towson, Maryland, Krista interacts with hundreds athletes each year through coaching, personal training and performance testing - VO2 max and resting metabolic rate (RMR).  She regularly speaks at camps and seminars and is also an instructor for the She Does Tri Triathlon Camps for Women.

As a competitive triathlete, Krista has qualified and competed in the Ironman Hawaii World Championship and represented the state of Maryland for the Best of the U.S. Championship from 2006-2008 while achieving USA Triathlon All-American status four times.  She also competed in the Duathlon World Championship in 2006.
